Synagogue Work: 

Years of experience in developing Synagogue's management and communication between staff, lay leadership and clergy. Currently Board Member at Kol Rinah and co-chair of the Adult Education Committee (now known as Verein) and active in the Communications Committee.

- Initiated, co-chaired and presented the first of over twenty Installments in a Series on Judaism and Science.

- Weekend with Rabbi Neil Gillman, z'l' (written and lectured extensively on Rabbi Gillman’s thoughts). Also, personal friends

- Weekend with Rabbi Brad Artson, VP a the Ziegler School of Rabbinic studies at AJU (American Jewish University, LA, CA)

- Individual (several) programs with History Professor Hillel Kieval, Washington University, St. Louis.

- Program on the CJLS Committee with one of its chairs, Rabbi Pamela Barmash, member of my Synagogue!

- Weekend with Rabbi Pamela Barmash on the topic of Jerusalem.

- Authored and created an educational CD on Shemoneh Esreh

- Taught Shemoneh Esreh as a Kabbalat Shabbat presentation

- Gave Dvrai Torah in Shul in 2003, 2009, 2012 and 2015.

- Written numerous articles on Jewish topics, too many to list. Some are published in magazines and some on-line. CJ: Voices of Conservative/Masorti Judaism

- Through 2006 Chaired the PR Committee

- Gave a Kabbalat Shabbat presentation on the origins of the Torah (with 100+ attendees).
